Sad, but true. I came back from a wonderful weekend in the hills of Pennsylvania to find the birds gone. One baby hatched the day before I left, but I wasn't able to snap a photo. I don't know what happened, I can only imagine the worst. I hope they return to their nest one day.

wha...I'm heart broken, I'm going assume the best and say that nest was like a condo, and now they've moved into a nice 3 bedroom with a yard.
I really like your explanation! i hope they have a 3 car garage too!
