new reads

"This book is not for botanists or dendrologists or taxonomists, or even for those who want to identify individual trees. It is a book for nonexperts (like me)." These are the opening words from Diana Wells, the author of Lives of Tress. Full of interesting facts, this book covers how trees are used in sacred rituals, their medical properties and the origins of their names. What's your favorite tree!
